The Community of Waterford in Portmore is a still developing. It has a mixture of professionals, citizens who fall in working class and lower class socioeconomic status. It has 3 schools several churches, including the Waterford Seventh-day Adventist Church, which has been serving the community since 1984. As with most communities across the developing Island Nation, Jamaica, Waterford has a need for medical care, Noncommunicable Diseases NCDs counselling and control and dental care. Access to some medical services are offered at a small community clinic, but can be substandard. Proper care can be expense through private facilities miles away.
