Dr. Valens Plummer hails from Montego Bay, Jamaica. He has lived in the Atlanta Metropolitan area for 31 years and has been in practice for 21 years. He currently practices at Kaiser Permanente as an Ambulatory Care Physician, and before that, he was an Attending Physician at Morehouse School of Medicine in the Department of Family Medicine.
Dr. Plummer is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a Colonel in the US Army Reserve. He lives in Stone Mountain, GA, with his wife. They have four grown children.
Mr. Shawn A. Wray is Think on These Things' founder and President/Executive Director. His leadership, strategic planning, and business acumen have helped the organization serve impoverished individuals and families in Georgia, USA, Haiti, and Jamaica, W.I.
Wray is labeled a "spiritual businessman with a true heart for the poor." With his Christian background, Wray brings his long-time experience serving the poor to the forefront as the leader.
He is married to the former Kaydene Walker; this union has produced Kai, their son.
Mr. Kimsley Clarke has been passionate about helping others since childhood. The most rewarding thing is to see those who receive assistance get back on their feet. Mr. Clarke believes that if we work together as a team, excellence will result from the little we have, and God the Father of Heaven will multiply for His Glory.
Kimsley is married and has three grown children.
Kaydene Wray is a missioner minded individual who enjoys serving and working with people. She is a teacher by profession and has previously spent the last 11 years as a High School educator. Her commitment and dedication to education and whatever task she undertakes have seen her work with children and youths in various capacities in her church and community.
When Kaydene is not busy teaching, she enjoys being a mom and a wife and hanging with family and friends!
Jodian Manderson is a highly experienced and dedicated dental hygienist for the last 15 years. Her specialty area is providing exceptional oral health care services. She is skilled in performing thorough dental cleanings, administering local anesthesia, conducting oral health assessments, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques. She is committed to delivering compassionate care and promoting optimal dental health for patients of all ages. The last five years, she has dedicated her efforts to administration and organization of dental practice operations.
She is a final year DMD student at University of Technology, Jamaica. When not at school or running a dental office, she enjoys youth work in her church, caring for her two boys, and loving her husband.
