Project Overview

The Community of Waterford in Portmore is a still developing. It has a mixture of professionals, citizens who fall in working class and lower class socioeconomic status. It has 3 schools several churches, including the Waterford Seventh-day Adventist Church, which has been serving the community since 1984. As with most communities across the developing Island Nation, Jamaica, Waterford has a need for medical care, Noncommunicable Diseases NCDs counselling and control and dental care. Access to some medical services are offered at a small community clinic, but can be substandard. Proper care can be expense through private facilities miles away.

This year, Think on These Things Ministries International will be giving world-class services, food and clothing to the indigents of this community.

What Can I Do?
We are inviting you to register and become a volunteer in any area that you are so skilled. We invite your monetary donations and gifts for the citizens of Waterford. Furthermore, we crave your prayers for the success of this Mission Trip.

Projects & Volunteers
We need individuals trained to staff the following areas for this mission:

Medical Clinic: Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Medical assistants
Pharmacy: Pharmacists and Pharmacy technicians Dental Clinic: Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants
We will also need non-medical volunteers for food distribution, clothing distribution, prayer ministry and outreach.
